Refund and Cancellation Policy

 

At HWLM Youth Ranch, we work hard to provide quality horsemanship, mentorship, educational, and recreational experiences. Because horses, facilities, and staffing must be scheduled in advance, the following refund policy applies to all programs and services.

 

Lessons

 

• Lesson fees are non-refundable once the lesson has been scheduled.

• A minimum of 24-hour notice is required to reschedule a lesson.

• Lessons canceled with less than 24-hour notice may be forfeited and will not be refunded.

• No-shows are not eligible for refunds or make-up lessons.

 

Camps, Clinics, and Special Events

 

• Registration fees are refundable up to 10 days before the event, less any non-refundable deposits or processing fees.

• No refunds will be issued within 10 days of the event unless the participant’s spot can be filled.

• Participants who leave early or miss part of an event are not eligible for partial refunds.

 

Homeschool Horsemanship Programs

 

• Monthly program fees are non-refundable once the program month has begun.

• Missed classes are not eligible for refunds.

• Make-up sessions may be offered at the discretion of HWLM Youth Ranch.

 

Youth Mentorship Programs

 

• Program fees and registration fees are generally non-refundable due to preparation, materials, and horse assignments.

• Exceptions may be considered in cases of serious illness, family emergency, or other extraordinary circumstances.

 

Weather and Ranch Closures

 

• Activities canceled by HWLM Youth Ranch due to severe weather, unsafe conditions, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control may be rescheduled whenever possible.

• If a reschedule is not possible, a credit may be issued toward a future program or service.

 

Deposits

 

• Deposits used to reserve a lesson package, camp space, clinic spot, horse training slot, or special event are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

 

Refund Processing

 

• Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days.

• Refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.

 

Exceptions

 

HWLM Youth Ranch reserves the right to review refund requests on a case-by-case basis and make exceptions when circumstances warrant.
